1. Understanding Bank Details in TallyPrime

1. Go to Voucher Types:

Go to Gateway of Tally > Alt+F1 (Voucher Type).

2. Select Sales Invoice:

Choose the “Sales Invoice” voucher type.

Configure Invoice Layout:

Press Alt+F12 (Configure) to customize the invoice layout.

3. Add Bank Details Field:

  • In the Invoice Body section, click Add to add a new field.
  • Name the field “Bank Details” or a similar name.
  • Set the data type to “Text”.

4. Customize the Field:

You can further customize the field’s appearance, such as font size, alignment, and formatting.

5. Place the Field:

Drag and drop the “Bank Details” field to the desired location on the invoice layout.

6. Enter Bank Details:

When creating a sales invoice, enter your bank account details in the newly created field.

    Let’s say you want to add your bank account number and IFSC code to the bottom of your sales invoices.

    1. Go to Gateway of Tally and press Alt+F1.
    2. Select the “Sales Invoice” voucher type.

    4. Add a new field named “Bank Details”.
    5. Place the field at the bottom of the invoice.
    6. When creating a sales invoice, enter your bank account number and IFSC code in the “Bank Details” field.
