1. Create the Stock Item for the Finished Good:
- Go to Gateway of Tally > Create > type or select Stock Item > Enter.

2. Define the BOM:
- Under Name of BOM, enter a descriptive name for the BOM.
- In the Components Consumption section:

- Optionally, indicate whether a component is a consumable, by-product, or co-product.
3. Use the BOM in Manufacturing Journal:
- When creating a Manufacturing Journal voucher:
- Select the finished good item.
- Choose the relevant BOM from the Name of BOM field.
- TallyPrime automatically populates the components and quantities.
- Adjust quantities if needed due to variations or waste.
4. Manage BOMs:
- View and alter existing BOMs through Gateway of Tally > Alter Master > Stock Item > select the finished good > Alter BOM.
