There are two primary ways to view GSTR-1 in TallyPrime:
1. Viewing the Prepared Draft:
- Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statutory Reports > GST > GSTR-1.
- Select the relevant Return Period (year & month/quarter).
- You can view either the Returns Summary or Particulars section:
- Returns Summary: Provides an overview of the total taxable value, tax amount, etc.
- Particulars: Shows detailed information on each transaction included in the draft return.
- Press Alt+V to switch between the two sections.
2. Viewing the Submitted Return:
- If you have already submitted the GSTR-1, you can still access it for reference.
- Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > GST Reports > GSTR-1.
- Choose the relevant Return Period and click
...
(three dots) next to the period selection. - Select
View Submitted Return
. - This will display the details of the submitted return, similar to the draft version.
Additional Notes on How to View GSTR-1 in TallyPrime:
- Ensure you have generated the GSTR-1 draft before attempting to view it.
- The option to view submitted returns will only be available for periods where you have actually filed the GSTR-1.
- You can export the GSTR-1 draft or submitted return in JSON format for further processing or filing.
