1. Altering a Job Work Out Order in TallyPrime:

There might be situations where you need to modify the details of an existing Job Work Out Order. Here’s how to do it in TallyPrime:

1. Locate the Job Work Out Order:

2. Select the Order:

Use the arrow keys to navigate and highlight the Job Work Out Order you want to modify.

3. Make Changes:

Press Enter to open the voucher for editing. You can then modify details like quantity, due date, or narration.

    2. Example:

    Suppose you realize you need 60 shirts instead of the initially planned 50 in your previous Job Work Out Order.

    • Open the specific Job Work Out Order for the tailor.
    • Change the “Quantity” field to 60.
    • Update the “Amount” if the rate per shirt remains the same (Ctrl+M to recalculate).
    • Make any other necessary adjustments.

    4. Save or Discard:

    Press Ctrl+A to save the changes to the Job Work Out Order. Alternatively, press Esc to discard the modifications.

      3. Deleting a Job Work Out Order in TallyPrime:

      Important Note: Deleting a Job Work Out Order should only be done if it hasn’t been processed yet (no raw materials issued or finished goods received).

      1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from the “Altering” section to locate the Job Work Out Order you want to delete.
      2. Delete the Voucher: Press Alt+D while the Job Work Out Order is open for editing. A confirmation message will appear.
      3. Confirm Deletion: Press Yes to permanently delete the Job Work Out Order. Press No to cancel the deletion.

      Remember: Once deleted, the Job Work Out Order cannot be retrieved.

      5. Additional Considerations:

      • It’s recommended to only alter or delete Job Work Out Orders if there are no linked transactions like material issue vouchers.
      • TallyPrime maintains an audit trail, so even deleted vouchers can be traced for record-keeping purposes.
