TallyPrime offers a report specifically designed to track material issued to job workers for Job Work Out Orders (JWOOs).

This report is called the “Material Out Register (Job Work Out).”

1. Accessing the Report:

  1. Go to Reports: Press Alt+R (Reports).
  2. Navigate to the Report: Inventory Reports > Job Work Reports > Material Out.

2. Understanding the Material Out Register Report (Job Work Out) Report:

This report provides details about material (components or raw materials) transferred to job workers for outstanding Job Work Out Orders. Here are the key fields you’ll see:

  • Voucher Date: Date the “Material Out (FG)” voucher was created, reflecting the material issuance.
  • Voucher No.: Reference number of the “Material Out (FG)” voucher.
  • Party: The job worker (supplier) who received the materials.
  • Order No.: Reference number of the linked Job Work Out Order.
  • Stock Item: The specific component (raw material) issued.
  • Issued Qty: The quantity of that component issued to the job worker.
  • Rate (Optional): The pre-agreed rate per unit of the component (if entered while issuing materials).
  • Amount (Optional): The calculated amount based on the rate and issued quantity (if entered while issuing materials).

3. Filtering and Sorting (Optional):

  • Press F12 (Configure) to set filters or sorting options.
  • You can filter by date range, party (job worker), stock item (component), order number, or other relevant criteria.
  • You can sort the report by voucher date, party, stock item, or other columns for easier analysis.

4. Example: Issued a Fabric to a Tailor

You issued fabric to a tailor (supplier named “Tailor XYZ”) for a Job Work Out Order (No. 123) to produce shirts.

  1. Go to Reports and navigate to “Inventory Reports > Job Work Reports > Material Out”.
  2. In the “Party” filter, select “Tailor XYZ”.
  3. You can further filter by “Order No.” as “123” (if available) to see the specific material issued for that order.
