TallyPrime doesn’t offer a pre-defined report named “Party Wise – Job Order Summary.”

However, you can achieve a similar outcome using a combination of existing reports and filters.

Here are two approaches:

1. Approach 1: Utilizing the Job Orders Summary Report with Filtering:

1. Access the Report:

Go to Reports (Alt+R) > Inventory Reports > Job Work Reports > Orders.

2. Filter by Party:

Press F12 (Configure) to set filters. In the “Party A/c Name” filter, select the specific job worker (supplier) you want to see a summary for.

3. View the Report:

The report will display all outstanding Job Work Out Orders (JWOOs) placed with that particular job worker.

You’ll see details like order number, order date, stock item (finished product), ordered quantity, balance quantity, and (optional) rate and amount.

2. Example: Approach 1

You want a summary of outstanding job work from a tailor (supplier named “Tailor XYZ”).

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 above, selecting “Tailor XYZ” in the “Party A/c Name” filter.
  • The report will show all outstanding orders placed with “Tailor XYZ”.

3. Approach 2: Combining the Job Orders Summary and Outstanding Bills Reports:

1. Get the Outstanding JWOO Summary:

Follow steps 1 and 2 from Approach 1 to generate a summary of outstanding JWOOs for a specific party (job worker).

2. View Outstanding Bills (Optional):

Go to Reports (Alt+R) > Accounts Reports > Outstanding Bills.

You can optionally filter by party (job worker) to see outstanding bills (unpaid invoices) related to completed job work.

4. Example: Approach 2

You want to see a summary of outstanding job work (undelivered finished goods) and outstanding bills (completed jobs with unpaid invoices) for a tailor (supplier named “Tailor XYZ”).

  • Follow steps 1 and 2 from Approach 1 to get a summary of outstanding JWOOs from “Tailor XYZ”.
  • Go to the “Outstanding Bills” report and filter by “Tailor XYZ” (optional) to see outstanding invoices related to completed jobs.

5. Additional Notes:

  • While these approaches don’t provide a single report with party-wise and overall job order summaries, they offer valuable insights when combined.
  • You can export the reports to formats like Excel for further consolidation and analysis.
  • Consider using custom reports (if your TallyPrime version supports it) to create a more tailored “Party Wise – Job Order Summary” report.

By following these approaches and leveraging filtering options, you can effectively analyze outstanding job work and related costs on a party (job worker) basis in TallyPrime, ensuring efficient job work management and financial control.
